
While purchasing a beach house may seem an expensive endeavor, bargains do exist in several coastal markets, including the Carolinas, according to a recent RealtyTrac report. Both Emerald Isle, N.C., tucked between the Outer Banks and Wilmington, and Pawleys Island, S.C., about a 45-minute drive south of Myrtle Beach, landed on RealtyTrac's top 15 bargain beach towns for the summer of 2016.
